Australian Obst Wins 2017 WSOP $10,000 Razz Championship

The professional poker player from Australia James Obst is a happy man these days after putting up a stupendous show at the 2917 WSOP $10,000 Razz Championship.

He had to fight through a field of 97 entrants to win his first World Series of Poker bracelet in the event and take home $265,138.

Obst says that he was third time lucky as he has already made it to the heads-up play at the WSOP events twice before. He also finished in the second position in both the events. The events were $2,500 mixed triple-draw lowball in 2017 and the 2016 $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. This time he was able to make amends for his last couple of WSOP final table performances. He had a sizable chip disadvantage entering the final table, but was able to overcome the disadvantage and win the first WSOP gold bracelet of his career and take home $265,138 prize money. Large Scale Participation At Unibet Event

The action heats up as Unibet Open Main Event at Bucharest approaches. It is scheduled to be on from 1st to 4th of December this week.

Those who are participating are already embarking on the journey as preparations will start off from 30th November. The Unibet Open Poker Tour is an annual event that is held in different destinations every year. This tour is more popular for the Open Main Event that promises to be the largest in history. The cap on participation in this event is 800 players.

This year the Bucharest city being the host, those who are flying down or traveling to this Romanian city to take part in the poker events will also get a chance to explore the different sights and sounds of this historic place. MCOP Main Event In Amsterdam

With the MCOP event going on in Amsterdam, there is a lot of emphasis on the event and the different programs that are unfolding.

For instance, the Main Event has recently taken place and fans will be interested to know that Brosky led in this event. The Day 1b that unfolded saw Michiel Brosky leading the charge. Noah Boeken was winner of the High Roller event of MCOP. There was a lull for three days, after which the Main Event started off with nine levels. It was held at the Holland Casino Amsterdam, which is the venue for MCOP and has been so for several years now.

The event saw a big turnout. There were a total of more than two hundred entries which combined with the participation on Day 1a and this led to a large increase in turnout. Paul Wasicka is one of the Unsung Superstars of Poker

His tournament cashes and wins are only available up to the fall of the summer in 2010, as of that year, he had raked above $7.8million. He only appeared again in the year 2014 during February and March months where he was able to make $4,880 in the month of February from $570 Omaha 8/OB $25K Guarantee 2014 L.A. Poker Classic (WPT) and another cash prize of $825 by coming in 14th place in $365 Omaha 8/OB $30K Guarantee 2014 Winnin’ o’ the Green (WSOPC). Irrespective of the gap that is there in the poker career the player was still able to manage coming in the best position at the final table.
